1) ITBA, Instituto Technologico de Buenos Aires will consider a Grade C or above at A Level in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as passing grade for their entrance exams in these subjects.

2) If the student's grade is lower than a C, ITBA will offer a Summer course to allow the subject to be revalidated at the following entrance exam session.

3) For students who have taken the subject at AS Level, the University offers a one month, intensive course in November/December, after Cambridge exams have passed.

4) Students who comply with any of the above criteria will still need to satisfy the administrative entrance procedures.

Universidad Austral recognises students who have obtained the AICE Diploma and gives them direct admission as follows:

1) For direct entry into the Biomedical Faculty (Medicine School, Psychology, Nursery and Biomedical Sciences)

Students who have obtained the AICE Diploma require the following to be considered for admission:

i) Attend the University entrance course and exams, but the grades obtained will not be considered for entrance purposes.

ii) These students will have the entrance course fee reduced by 50%

2) For direct entry into the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technological Engineering

Students who have obtained the AICE Diploma require the following to be considered for admission:

i) An AS or A Level Maths with a minimum of 80 points to be exempted from the Maths Foundation course, provided the students have obtained a general average of 7 in the secondary school.

3) For direct entry into the Business, Agribusiness and Accountancy Faculty

Students who have obtained the AICE Diploma require the following to be considered for admission:

i) An AS or A Level Maths with a minimum of 80 points to be exempted from the Maths Foundation course, provided the students have obtained a general average of 7 in the secondary school.

4) For direct entry into Law School, International Relations and Political Science Faculty

Students who have obtained the AICE Diploma require the following to be considered for admission:

i) An average of 7 points or above in their secondary school grades.

5) For direct entry into the Communications Faculty

Students who have obtained the AICE Diploma require the following to be considered for admission:

i) A Level Spanish with a minimum of 80 points provided they have obtained a general average of 7 in the secondary school.

The university recognises the Cambridge AICE Diploma for direct entry purposes to students who have obtained 250 points or more. This applies to students who have taken the Diploma in any country.
