The accreditation services provided by UNED | Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia for access and admission of international students to Spanish universities have been agreed by CRUE (Spain's Council of University Rectors). International GCSEs and International AS and A Levels are accepted as equivalent in standard and grade to the GCSE, AS and A Levels taken by students in the UK.
University access requirements with Cambridge International qualifications: minimum requirements for entry to undergraduate degree programmes are five (5) IGCSE subjects at grade C / grade 4 or above plus three (3) International A Levels with a minimum of 48 tariff points (according to the 2017 UCAS Tariff).
Students may submit up to a maximum of four AS & A Level qualifications. These must be the equivalent of at least three full A levels, i.e., 2 A levels + 2 AS Levels, 3 A levels, 3 A levels + 1 AS Levels or 4 A levels.
- Spanish universities are responsible for their own entry requirements and deadlines; the final decision on admission criteria therefore lies with each institution. Cambridge applicants are advised to contact their chosen universities directly if they have any questions regarding general and/or course-specific entry requirements.
- UNED provides a service called UNEDasiss for students with international qualifications wishing to study in Spain. This website provides important information on admission to universities using the UNEDasiss system. Students are advised to visit this website before submitting an application.
